The lecture series provides a detailed overview of the entire field of intellectual property protection, particularly with respect to patent, trade mark, and design protection.
The various and diverse topics are handled by different experts from the respective specialist areas.
After participating in the event, the students are typically in a position to estimate whether a technological development or a research result may relate to patentable subject-matter, and are furthermore typically able to draft a corresponding invention disclosure for their own innovation. The participants will gain an understanding of how patents and trade marks can be nationally and internationally obtained, legally enforced, and commercially exploited.
The lecture series is scheduled to begin in October 2016.
